Established in Phoenix in 2015, Venn Construction is owned and operated by emergent industry leader, Nick Veldman, and was previously the Phoenix location of Minnesota-based RJM Construction which was established in Phoenix in 2010.

Nick Veldman
Managing Partner

As Owner and part of the project management team, Nick is responsible for developing budgets, schedules, tracking submittals, processing RFI’s and subcontract coordination. Nick provides valuable project assistance in all areas of information management, so the client is always aware of project status. Nick will manage the construction process, interacting closely with the project team to ensure all budget and schedule objectives are achieved.

Nick’s experience has been gained through his involvement with various project types such as office, recreational, tenant improvements, senior living, retail, restaurant, financial, mixed use, major renovation, and new construction work. He is skilled in unique and complicated projects where extensive pre-planning is required to create real project value.

Stephanie Fogelson
VP Project Development

As Vice President of Project Development, Stephanie is responsible for all aspects of market studies, strategic planning, creating and leading growth initiatives, internal and external communications, and prospecting for new opportunities to grow the initiatives of the business. Stephanie has been in the healthcare field for over 15 years and specializes in new market entry. In addition to her role at Venn she sits on the Board of Directors for Leadership West and runs an International non-profit for medical students. Her passion to grow the healthcare industry in all aspects has positioned Venn to be the premier healthcare General Contractor of all modalities because we fully understand the needs of the healthcare users. “When Venn is engaged to build a non-healthcare project the user receives the talent, experience and standards that a healthcare provider would require. Frankly, if you build quality healthcare, you keep the same gold standards regardless of what is being constructed – we truly have the best people and do the best work.” 

Kevin Candelaria
Senior Project Manager

As part of the project management team, Kevin is responsible for developing budgets, schedules, tracking submittals, processing RFI’s and subcontract coordination. Kevin provides valuable project assistance in all areas of information management, so the client is always aware of project status. In addition to project management Kevin oversees our Project Management team and the support staff. He ensures a cohesive environment and streamlined communication to ensure the best project outcome for Venn clients.

Kevin manages the construction process, interacting closely with the project team to ensure all budget and schedule objectives are achieved. He takes pride in providing consistent, quality work to both internal and external customers and his effective communication skills make him a valuable member of the Venn team.

Robert Quesada
General Superintendent

Robert began his construction career 30 years ago and has been active in the industry ever since. He has held positions as a laborer and superintendent on a variety of project types and sizes.

Robert’s responsibilities include field force management, subcontract coordination, schedule management, quality control and site safety. He has proven his experience and leadership qualities are valuable assets to any project team. As the project superintendent, Robert will play a vital role in ensuring that a project is highly coordinated and delivered within project goals.

Robert is very skilled at the intricate coordination and planning involved in a multi-phased project. His experience in coordinating work around an operating facility, is essential to ensuring a successful project in the eyes of the project team.
